Note that any graphical representation of our buses may or may not be the bus used to transport your pet. Our shuttle buses (as shown) are used for transporting a smaller number of animals as well as for private transports, while our larger transport vehicles are used for regular pet transportation, as the larger transport vehicles are specifically designed to accommodate a larger number of animals.

It is critical that the contact information you provide us is both current and accurate. It allows us to perform effectively in transporting your animals with the absolute minimum of discomfort or trauma. It is also the responsible party's duty to notify the person(s) on the opposite side of our scheduled arrival time for pickup or delivery.

Arrangements and Conditions:
Office hours are Monday through Friday 6:00AM to 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time. Professional Pet Transports prefers transport orders to be placed three to four weeks in advance in order to reserve the space for you on that particular transport. However, there is always the possibility of a last minute addition to our transports. Please e-mail us to check on last minute availability.

All animals with the exception of rodents and reptiles must have a current Interstate Health Certificate from a qualified veterinarian. It is also highly recommended that dogs have their bordetella (kennel cough) shots prior to transport. We cannot transport these animals without proper certification.

We do not pick up from or deliver to airports.

Professional Pet Transports is a 24-hour pet transportation company and while every effort is made for our drivers/attendants to arrive at a convenient time, schedules may dictate arrival at any time (day or night). It is recommended that alternate arrangements be in place for those times in case the responsible party is not able to be there personally for pick up or delivery.

If you have exotic animals or a large number of animals (normally more than fifteen to twenty animals or more) that need to be transported you may want to schedule a private transport. Email us for details and availability.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made no later than close of business (5:00 PM PST) of the Friday before the start of the transport. It is understood that "the start of the transport" is when our transport vehicle leaves from the main office in Eastern Oregon, Not when we are scheduled to pick up your pet/s. Cancellations made within 120 hours of the start of the transport will be charged a cancellation fee of 25% of the total cost, not to exceed $100. If you cancel after 5:00 PM PST of the Friday before the start of the transport, you will be charged the full transport fee and will only be refunded the cost of any additional insurance, carrier rental fees and/or any accessories purchased. All customers wishing to cancel a transport must receive a cancellation confirmation number from our office in order to verify that the transport will be cancelled.

Rescheduling Policy:
In the event that you find the need to reschedule within 120 hours of the start of the transport, you will be charged a rescheduling fee of 25% of the total cost not to exceed $100. Rescheduling prior to 120 hours before the start of the transport will incur no additional charges. Please contact our office as soon as you know of a change of plan. All customers wishing to reschedule a transport must receive a rescheduling confirmation number from our office in order to verify that the transport will be rescheduled.
